Emma has a brother!!

We adopted Jackson back in April. He is a Chi/Min pin mix. He is a crazy dog, but Emma is getting use to him! They enjoy play fighting and snuggling at night! Although with two dogs the bed is much smaller!!

In the Dog House

Well this Saturday has not been Emma Sue's best....she has already had 2 potty accidents in the last 36 hours...not a good record.
So far, her weekend has been pretty boring. She has been sleeping mostly, and playing with some toys. If it cools down tonite, she will get to go for a walk. She has had several treats, even though I dont know if she deserved them because of the accidents...
She wants to say "hello" to Grandma today, who is suppose to be checking out her blog. The rest of her day will be spent sleeping/watching Wimbledon and maybe a walk. Tomorrow looks like more of the same. So far, no 4th of July plans, so I dont know if she will be seeing fireworks this year or not.

Happy Monday for Emma Sue!

Emma Sue has had a good Monday! She has basically slept all day, and now we are going to go do some yard work! The sun is out, so I am sure she will do some sun-bathing as well. There have been no accidents today, so that is good! Tonite we will take a walk so she can go make some dog friends and chase after some bunnies.

Bad Dog

This morning Emme Sue had a pee accident downstairs on the new runner (she has a potty pad in the bedroom in case she needs to use it). So, she got spanked. This is not starting out to be her best day. She has been sulking underneath the chair in the bedroom so far. It is raining, so again she is stuck inside. Hopefully the rain stops and she improves her attitude and potty skills... :(

Emma Sue's Lazy Saturday

Today Emma Sue has been doing alot of what she loves: Kissing and sleeping. It has been raining, so she has not been able to go for a walk today...maybe tonite. Last nite she broke the squeeker in the red and white bone her Grandma got her...so we had to throw that away (she doesn't like toys once the squeeker is gone). But Grandma being the smart lady she is, bought a second bone that I put away. So, she got a new red and white bone! She already ate her Beneful today and had a Denta-bone treat. She also was a good girl when I sprayed her teeth with dental wash to keep them nice and sparkly.

She did get to take a walk last nite where a little kid yelled, "look a weiner dog!" at her...which is not that unusual. She also got to chase a bunny. Overall, she had a good walk and if it stops raining, she will get to go tonite again.

Some news: Emma Sue had her teeth cleaned last week and they are very sparkly now.
Frodo (her big black cat boyfriend) seems to like them! Her fav toy for the moment seems to be "milkbone". Her white squeeky bone. She loves sqeekers.

Today, she got to spend the day with Rich (he had the day off). She enjoyed all the kisses and love she got, of course!! We have plans tonite, so I don't know if she will get her nightly walk, and that will make her mad! Maybe I will give her twice as many treats to make up for it, although she still needs to lose one more pound.
